Brak Buldring

Sales description of the studio (max 1500 characters): Brak is one of Oslo’s largest bouldering gyms, set in a former school in the Kampen/Vålerenga neighbourhood. With a focus on aesthetics and a welcoming atmosphere, we’ve created a space where climbing and community come together. We have bouldering for all levels, an outdoor climbing wall, a Tension Board and a Quantum Board. Our café and bar is part of the experience, a place to enjoy good coffee, grab something to eat and spend time with friends after your session.

What might be good for members to know before their visit? Our boulders are graded from 1 to 9, with 1 being the easiest. If you’re new to bouldering, let our team know and we’ll help you understand the grading system and introduce you to our safety guidelines. Climbing shoe rental costs NOK 50, and chalk is available to rent for NOK 30. These are paid for separately at reception.

How to access the studio? The entrance is at the front of the building, not in the courtyard. Look for the large orange BRAK sign above the door. Head up to reception on the second floor and show your active Bruce check-in. The changing rooms are in the basement, one flight down from the entrance, so you’re welcome to get changed before heading to the reception

Do members need to bring anything specific? Climbing shoes and chalk, but it's possible to rent this as well.
