What is good to keep in mind before a visit?

Download the Bruce Studios app and set up your subscription before you arrive – everything runs through the app. Once you're set up, search for studios near you, browse available formats, and book your spot. Classes can fill up, so booking in advance is recommended. On the day of your visit, check in via the app when you arrive. Some studios use QR codes at the door; others check you in at reception. Bring what you would normally bring for a workout. Most studios offer changing facilities – check the individual studio page in the app for available amenities. If your plans change, cancel your booking in the app before the session starts. Please note the applicable cancellation policy.

Can I buy a membership for a whole year?

Yes, you can! Just select the annual option when signing up, and you'll receive a monthly discount on your membership. We also offer the option to prepay for the entire year upfront if you prefer to pay everything at once.

Can I pause my membership?

Yes, with Bruce Studios you can pause your membership at any time, except when your membership has been cancelled and is in the notice period. You're allowed 2 pause periods and a total of 60 pause days per calendar year. You can divide the 60 days however you like between the two periods.

How does the trial work?

The trial allows you to work out for free at studios included in the Black membership for 14 days. During the 14-day trial, you can check in a maximum of 4 times in total. One of these visits can be at a wellness studio, and you can visit each studio once during the trial. Please note that some wellness studios may require an additional fee, and there you pay the same fee as a Black member. The trial can only be started once by new customers who have not previously had a membership or used credits.

How do I book a class at a studio?

All instructor-led classes must be pre-booked in the Bruce Studios app. Most classes can be booked 5 minutes before start. By activating the Bruce Studios calendar subscription under settings, you will also see your booked classes in your calendar app.

How do I check in at studios?

When you arrive at a studio, you always need to scan the Bruce Studios QR code to check-in. When you scan the code, your visit is registered and you receive your entrance ticket. You always have to check in yourself, the staff at the studio cannot do it for you in their system.

Is there a limit on how much I can work out?

There is max limit of 20 checkins per month (wellness visits included) excluding visits to some studios which have unlimited visits, like STC gyms in Sweden. Larger plans gives you more bookings at a time and allow access to more studios and monthly visits to certain studios. Check studio profiles for details. Your monthly visits reset for all studios on the 1st of each calendar month. If you reach a limit you can chose to purchase classes until your visit limit has been reset.

What is your cancellation policy?

All studios have a 12-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel later than 12 hours before a class, it will result in strikes based on how close to the class you cancel: Late cancellation (12–3 hours before class): 1 strike, Short-notice cancellation (3–1 hour before class): 2 strikes, Last-minute cancellation (within 1 hour before class): 3 strikes, No-show (did not attend the class): 3 strikes, Late check-in (cut-off time varies by studio): 1 strike. To avoid strikes, make sure to cancel more than 12 hours before the class.

What if I want to cancel my membership?

When you end your membership, you have 1 month's notice. This means that you pay for a final month after your current payment period ends. You can use the membership as usual throughout this final payperiod. No notice period applies if you cancel your membership during your first month as a new member. This does not apply to annual memberships. You have to cancel your membership yourself in the app by going to Account - Membership - Cancel membership.

What is Wellness studios and Wellness Access?

Wellness studios are exclusive to Black and Epic plans and means studios with recreational activities such as saunas, soundhealing, cryotherapy etc. The Black plan includes 4 wellness visits / mo and the Epic plan include 8 wellness visits / mo. When you sign up, you can choose whether to include Wellness in your membership. If you decide not to include it, you won't be able to book classes at wellness studios. However, you can still purchase single wellness visits directly through the app.
