  • Trial
      What if I end the trial period?
    • You can cancel the trial period whenever you want during the 14 days the trial lasts. When you cancel, you can no longer work out for free at studios. To end the trial period, you first need to cancel your booked classes. If you receive a no show, you will be blocked from using Bruce Studios for 14 days. You cannot cancel your membership until those 14 days have passed or until you unlock the block.
    • Can I continue with another membership than Black after the trial period?
    • Yes, you can start any membership before the trial period ends. When you start the membership, your trial period ends at the same time.
    • What happens after the trial period?
    • The day after the trial period ends, you pay the first monthly payment for Black and you get full access to everything included in the membership.
    • Can you get a trial on another membership than Black?
    • No, the trial period currently only applies to Black.
    • Is it possible to extend or pause the trial period?
    • No. The trial period is 14 days and cannot be paused or extended.
    • What happens if I cancel late or miss a class during the trial period?
    • During the trial period, the same rules for no shows, late cancellations and late check-ins apply as for regular members. If you receive a no show, you will be blocked from using Bruce Studios for 14 days. You cannot cancel your membership until those 14 days have passed or until you unlock the block. Read more.
    • How does the trial work?
    • Trial means that you can work out for free at studios included in the Black membership for 14 days.* The trial can be started once by new customers who haven’t previously had a membership or used credits. If someone tries to start a trial again, a regular Black membership will begin automatically and is non-refundable. During the trial, you can visit each studio once. Wellness studios and some Black studios are not included in the trial. The trial is available periodically throughout the year.

      What do I need to use Bruce Studios?
    • To use Bruce Studios, you need a smartphone with iOS 14 or a later version, or Android 5.0 or a later version. Additionally, a working internet connection is required to check in and open doors at studios, among other functions. To enable check-in and view studios near you, location services must also be activated.
    • How old do I have to be to sign up for a Bruce Studios membership?
    • To sign up for a Bruce Studios membership, you must be at least 18 years old.
    • Can I use my membership in other cities and countries where Bruce Studios is located?
    • You sign up for your membership in the city where you will use it most, but you can work out in other cities and countries where Bruce Studios is located! On our website as well as in the Bruce app, you can see which cities and countries Bruce Studios is currently in.
    • How much does Bruce Studios cost?
    • Our memberships have different prices depending on what you want access to. See our membership page to see prices and more info.
    • What is the difference between credits and a membership?
    • With credits, you pay every time you work out instead of having a fixed monthly cost that comes with the membership. You can choose the number of credits you want to buy, however the minimum amount is 50 credits. How many credits a workout costs varies from studio to studio and corresponds to the studio's own prices. Your credits are valid for 12 months from the time of purchase. See our credits page for more info and prices. Please note that credits cannot be used on Wellness Studios in Sweden and Klatreverket´s Studios in Oslo.
    • What is the difference between our memberships?
    • Larger membership plans offer more flexibility—with the ability to make more bookings simultaneously, access additional studios, and enjoy monthly visits to select studios. See individual studio profiles for more details.
    • Why Bruce Studios?
    • Bruce Studios gives you the opportunity to work out at tons of different studios and training facilities with just one membership. Perfect if you want to vary your workouts and discover new forms of training in a simple way. Thanks to Bruce Studios, our partner studios reach a wider audience, fill their classes more easily and get paid for the visits Bruce Studios members make to their studios.
  • Workout limits
      Can I buy extra visits to a studio after I reach my workout limit?
    • Once you have reached your workout limit, you can buy additional workouts at the studio. You can buy as many extra workouts as you like, with the exception of a few studios where extra workouts are not available for purchase.
    • Is there a limit on how much I can work out?
    • There is max limit of 20 checkins per month, excluding visits to some studios which have unlimited visits. Larger plans gives you more bookings at a time and allow access to more studios and monthly visits to certain studios. Check studio profiles for details. Your monthly visits reset for all studios on the 1st of each calendar month. If you reach a limit you can chose to purchase classes until your visit limit has been reset. Purchased visits are not included in the workout limit.
  • Booking and checking in to classes
      How do I check in at studios?
    • When you arrive at a studio, you always need to scan the Bruce Studios QR code to check-in. When you scan the code, your visit is registered and you receive your entrance ticket. You always have to check in yourself, the staff at the studio cannot do it for you in their system.
    • The class I want to book is fully booked, how does the waiting list work?
    • Those on the waiting list for a class will receive a notification with 20 seconds intervals that a spot is available, then it is first come, first served to book the vacant spot.
    • What happens if I don’t cancel my booking and don’t go to the class?
    • If you receive 3 strikes from either late cancellations or late checkins or 1 no show (whatever happens first), you will be blocked from booking new classes for 14 days. During a booking block, you can still attend your upcoming classes and work out at gyms or studios offering solo training. If you make a late cancellation during the booking block, that late cancellation strike will be in effect after the booking block period. If you make another 3 late cancellations or a No-Show during the lock period, the 14-day period will be reset. You may either wait for the block to expire or choose to pay a fee to remove the block at any time.

Strikes are removed every 60 days. You cannot cancel your membership or trial period during a booking block. You can either wait for the block to expire or choose to pay a fee to remove the booking block at any time. You cannot pause your membership during a booking block. If the block overlaps with a previously scheduled pause, the remaining days of the block will continue after the pause ends.
    • What is your cancellation policy?
    • All studios have a 12-hour cancellation policy, meaning that if you cancel later than 12 hours before the class, it is considered a late cancellation. A late cancellation results in a strike. If you cancel less than 3 hours before the class or fails to check in by scanning the Bruce Studio QR code at the studio, it is considered a No-Show. The latest cancellation and No show time will be displayed in the class description and on your booking. You will also receive a push notification prior to the cancellation deadline as a reminder of the upcoming class if cancellation is required. If you book a class with credits, the following rules apply: If you make a late checkin or a late cancellation, 5 credits will be deducted from your credit balance while the remaining credits for the class will be refunded. If you make a No-Show, no credits will be refunded. No refunds will be given for bookings paid in cash.
    • How do I book a class at a studio?
    • All instructor-led classes must be pre-booked in the Bruce Studios app. Most classes can be booked 5 minutes before start. By activating the Bruce Studios calendar subscription under settings, you will also see your booked classes in your calendar app.
    • What does solo training mean?
    • All training that is not instructor-led, for example training at gyms, swimming halls and climbing centers is called Solo training. For Solo training you do not need to book anything in advance, just check in during the opening hours listed in the app for each studio in the app.
  • Change, pause or cancel membership
      How do I delete my account?
    • To delete your account, go to Account > Log out > Delete account. When your account is deleted, all your user data will be anonnymized. Anonymizing a deleted user's data is an irreversible action and can not be restored. Only delete your account if you're sure you don't want to use it again.
    • What if I want to cancel my membership?
    • When you end your membership, you have 1 month's notice. This means that you pay for a final month after your current payment period ends. You can use the membership as usual throughout this final payperiod. Example: If your payment date is the 15th of each month and you cancel your membership by April 14th, your last payment period will be April 15th - May 14th. If you cancel your membership on April 15th, your last payment period will be May 15th - June 14th. No notice period applies if you cancel your membership during the first month as a brand new member. You have to cancel your membership yourself in the app by going to Account - Membership - Cancel membership. You can't cancel your membership by writing to Bruce Studios.
    • Can I pause my membership?
    • Yes, with Bruce Studios you can pause whenever you want, except during the notice period. You have 2 pause periods and a total of 60 pause days per calendar year. You can distribute your pause days as you wish between your 2 pause periods. A pause period is counted as a started pause. If you end an ongoing pause, you will not get your pause period back. Deductions for paused days that you paid for are made in the next monthly payment. Your membership will automatically start when your pause period ends. Unused pause days cannot be saved for the next year. You do not get new pause days if you end your membership and restart it within the same calendar year. Any class bookings that occur during the pause period are automatically canceled (does not apply to paid passes). You can pause your membership in the app by going to Account - Membership - Pause membership. If you have paid for your membership in advance (e.g. through a benefits portal), please contact our support team and we will help you set up the pause manually. In addition to your regular pause days, we offer the option to pause your membership in certain situations: Pregnancy If you are pregnant, you can pause your membership for up to 6 months in addition to your 60 pause days. Sick Leave If you are on sick leave and can provide a medical certificate, we can help you pause your membership for the duration specified in the certificate.
    • Can I change my membership level whenever I want?
    • Yes, you can upgrade your membership at any time. When you move to a higher membership level, a new payment period starts immediately, the days you have already paid for your current membership level are deducted from the monthly cost for your new payment period If you're on an annual membership, upgrading is allowed, but downgrading is not possible during the contract period. For monthly memberships, you can downgrade, but the change will take effect after your current payment period ends.
  • Payments, receipts & occupational health
      What if I want to withdraw my membership purchase?
    • According to The Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies. Please note that this only applies if you have not used your membership and that specific rules apply to the Trial.
    • Is my payment period the same as a calendar month?
    • Your payment period and calendar month are not necessarily the same. Your payment period always starts on the day of the month that you started your membership. For example, if you start your membership on the 10th of a month, your membership will renew on the 10th of each month and run until the 9th of the next.
    • Can I buy a membership for a whole year?
    • Yes, you can! Just select the annual option when signing up, and you’ll receive a monthly discount on your membership. We also offer the option to prepay for the entire year upfront if you prefer to pay everything at once.
    • How do I find the receipts for my payments?
    • You will find receipts for your payments in the app under your account. If you want all the receipts bundled into one, reach out to our support and we will help you.
    • Is Bruce Studios valid for occupational health?
    • Yes, Bruce Studios is valid for occupational health. If you live in Sweden, you can buy Bruce Studios through the wellness portals Epassi, Benify, Söderberg & Partners and Wellnet. Read more here. Otherwise, you can give the receipts for your payments in the app directly to your employer.

    • Is it possible to combine discounts and promotional codes?
    • No, it is not possible to combine several active discounts and promotions at the same time. Read more about campaign terms here. All discounts must be activated before starting membership.
    • How do I buy a gift card?
    • You can purchase gift cards for all our different memberships as well as credits. Click here to learn more about how to buy and activate your gift card.
    • Do you have a student or senior discount?
    • Yes, we offer a student discount! In Sweden, students receive a 100 SEK monthly discount on annual memberships. To claim the discount, visit Mecenat’s website to get your personal code and apply it directly in the Bruce app. In Norway and Denmark, students receive a 100 NOK/DKK monthly discount on all memberships. To activate the discount, please contact our support team and attach a photo of your valid student ID. Please note that the student discount must be applied before activating a membership and cannot be combined with other offers.
    • Can you get an invite to try Bruce Studios for free?
    • Yes! If you know someone who is a Bruce Studios member, they can give you an invite to a free workout. The free workout can be an instructor-led class or solo training at, for example, a gym or climbing center. Wellness studios are not included in the free class invites. Users who have Bruce Studios credits but no membership cannot send any invites. Each invite code is unique and can only be used once by a person who is not yet a Bruce Studios member. You can use a free workout from friends once every three months.
  • Bruce Studios x STC
      Entry rules
    • As a Bruce Studios Member, the same rules apply as for our other partner studios. Only you, with a valid membership, have access to STC's facilities. If you were to admit an unauthorized person, you will be charged with a penalty fee of 1000 SEK. In case of repeated incidents, you will be blocked from using the service. If you want to bring a friend to a studio, you can send an invite through the app. Your friend needs to finalize the invitation and check into the studio themselves (Read more in the Bruce Studios app).
    • Women's changing room
    • At some STC gyms, there is a QR code to access the women's changing room. To enter the women's changing room, you scan the QR code with the Bruce Studios app, and the door will open. Men do not have access to enter the women's changing room. If you do not have a Swedish personal identification number, the system cannot detect if you have access to the changing room. Please contact support, and we will assist you. Please note that you will still have access to the gym but will not have access to the changing room.
    • Limitations
    • There are no limitations on how much you can work out at STC gym. Unlimited access applies to both solo training and classes, across all membership levels.
    • How do I check in at STC?
    • At STC, there are no Bruce Studios QR codes, instead you open doors, check-in, and print out a class tickets using STC's own QR codes. Please note that you need to have location services enabled to check in at a studio. If you are too far away from the studio or have location services turned off, you will not be able to check-in.
    • How does it work?
    • The new collaboration with STC provides you, as a Bruce Studios member, the opportunity to work out at all STC gyms in Sweden*. This applies to all membership levels (Base, Black, and Epic). You can both book classes and work out solo during STC's regular opening hours. The same rules for No show, late cancellation, and late check-in apply. * STC Åbybadet and STC Östersund Storsjöbadet are not included in the Bruce Studios membership
  • Annual Membership
      What if I want to cancel my commitment early?
    • You cannot cancel an annual membership early, but in special cases such as injury or pregnancy, you may be allowed to pause your membership beyond the included pause days. Changes in the schedule or studio offerings do not count as valid reasons for early cancellation.
    • What happens when my commitment period ends?
    • When your commitment period ends, your membership will continue as a monthly membership at the current monthly price. If you want to keep the same price you had when you first signed up, you can renew your commitment for another 12 months via your account in the app. This must be done before the last day of your current commitment period.
    • Can I pause my membership during the commitment period?
    • Yes, you can. If you pause your membership, your commitment period will be extended by the number of days you paused. All our memberships can be paused for up to 60 days per year, divided into a maximum of two periods.
    • Can I change membership level during my commitment period?
    • No, you cannot currently switch to a different membership level.
