The International Ballet School
SödermalmWelcome to The International Ballet School! Here they offer superior training within a nurturing and supportive environment. If you want to dance ballet in a professionally equipped studio, this is the place for you regardless of your previous experience. You can either learn from scratch or make sure you get even better at the skills you already have. As their name implies, they are an international studio with all classes taught in English. They believe in connecting through the dance, almost letting ballet become its own language. Before or after your class, feel free to sit down in the relax area and have a cup of tea or coffee. Your kids are welcome to stay in the playroom. **Good to know** * Some classes will be held at another location, at CCAP Studios on Körbärsvägen 9. This is specified in the class description. * There are no lockers available, bring your valuables into the studio. * Bring your own ballet shoes. If you don’t have any, you can also use socks with grips, no barefoot training. Ballet shoes are for sale in the studio. * Always wear clothes you feel comfortable and moveable in. Trousers should not touch the floor. * The reception is unmanned on early mornings, but the QR code is available for check-in. You get the door code via text when you book your spot.
IDance Studios
SödermalmLearn salsa, bachata, and other Latin dances in a fun and social environment! Perfect if you want to meet new people while improving your skills on the dance floor. The courses are divided into levels so you can progress at the right pace – a strong foundation is key to becoming a great dancer. **Beginner** For those who are completely new, no prior experience needed. You’ll learn the basics from scratch in a safe and relaxed setting. **Intermediate** For those who know the basics. Here you’ll build on them with more moves, improved technique, and better flow in your dancing. **Medel (Intermediate level two)** For those who have been dancing for a while and feel comfortable both in class and on the social dance floor. You’ll work on variation, technique, musicality, and expression, so your dancing becomes more relaxed, expressive, and personal. **Good to know** * No partner is needed, you rotate during the lessons. * Bring indoor shoes or dance in socks. * Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. * You don’t need to be “good” to start, everyone is a beginner at first. For the best progress, it’s recommended to stay at your level until it feels natural, relaxed, and comfortable – that’s how you improve the fastest.
