Bruce Studios may send the User direct marketing related to Bruce Studios’ products and services. Some marketing may be based on profiling, which means that Bruce Studios analyses the Member’s training habits, types of classes attended, and which Bruce Studios partners the Member visits. This profiling helps Bruce Studios tailor marketing content to the Member’s preferences. For more information on how personal data is processed, please refer to Bruce Studios’ Privacy Policy.

3.2 Right to withdraw consent

The Member may at any time choose whether to consent to or decline profiling for marketing purposes. The Member may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the legality of any processing carried out before such withdrawal.

The range of classes and training opportunities offered by Bruce Studios partners is determined independently by each partner. The number and type of available classes and studios may change over time without prior notice.

4.2 No guarantee of access

Bruce Studios does not guarantee access to specific studios or specific types of classes.

All personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and as further described in Bruce Studios’ Privacy Policy. For more information on how Bruce Studios processes personal data, please see the Privacy Policy Privacy Policy.

5.4 Location data

When checking in at a Bruce Studios partner, the App may request access to the Member’s location. This is used to confirm that the Member is at the correct location and may be logged for troubleshooting purposes.

6. Membership – General terms

6.1 Download and payment providers

The App is free to download. To book classes or access training with Bruce Studios partners, the User must first become a Member. Payments are processed via Adyen.

6.2 Use across countries

The membership must be purchased in the country where the Member primarily uses it. The Member may use their Bruce Studios membership in other cities and countries where Bruce Studios is available, as long as the training is included in the Member’s selected membership level.

7. Monthly membership

7.1 Membership levels and notice period

Bruce Studios offers monthly memberships with the various levels of Base, Black and Epic. Monthly memberships are rolling subscriptions without a binding period, but with a one (1) month notice period. The membership continues until the Member actively cancels it.

7.2 Membership fee and payments

The monthly fee is charged at midnight on the last day of the current billing or pause period. No refunds are issued for prepaid periods. The membership remains active until the end of the paid term. Any discount codes must be applied before payment.

The Member is responsible for ensuring that their payment method works throughout the subscription. The billing cycle begins on the regular due date, even if the payment fails. If payment fails, the Member must pause the membership in advance to avoid being charged. Missed payments may result in invoicing or debt collection.

7.3 Payment via benefit portals

Payments may also be made through third-party providers, such as employee benefit portals. Purchases through such platforms must be activated within one (1) month of the purchase date. If not activated within that time, the purchase is forfeited.

7.4 Cancelling a monthly membership

The Member may cancel the membership manually in the App under Account → Membership → Cancel Membership. Cancellations may also be effected by sending a written request to support@bruce.app. For the termination to be valid, the member must have received confirmation of the termination. Monthly memberships have a one (1) month notice period. This means the Member will be charged for one final payment cycle following cancellation.

Members terminate their membership at any time via the App under Account → Membership → Terminate membership. Termination may also be effected by sending a written request to support@bruce.app. For the termination to be valid, the member must have received confirmation of the termination.

Example: If the billing date is the 15th of each month and cancellation takes place in April: If cancelled on or before April 14 → the final period is April 15 – May 14 If cancelled on April 15 → this becomes the notice period If cancelled on or after April 16 → the final period is May 15 – June 14

The membership cannot be paused after it has been cancelled.

7.5 Cancellation during the first month

No notice period applies if the Member cancels the membership during their first month as a new Member.

8. Annual membership

8.1 Membership level and binding period

Bruce Studios offers annual memberships for all membership levels in all countries. During an active binding period, it is possible to upgrade your membership, but it is not possible to downgrade. An annual membership cannot be cancelled prematurely. In special circumstances, such as injury or pregnancy, extended pause periods beyond the standard pause allowance may be granted. Changes in studio or class availability do not constitute valid grounds for early cancellation. The general terms in section 6 also apply to annual memberships, including download, payment methods, and cross-border use.

8.2 Membership fee and payments

The monthly fee is charged at midnight on the last day of the current billing or pause period. No refunds are issued for prepaid annual memberships. Discounts must be applied before payment. The Member is responsible for ensuring the payment method works throughout the subscription. Failed payments may lead to invoicing or debt collection. Pausing must be done in advance to avoid charges for unused time.

8.3 Payment via benefit portals

Annual memberships may also be purchased through third-party providers such as benefit portals. These purchases must be activated within one (1) month of the purchase date. If not activated within that time, the access is forfeited.

8.4 When the binding period ends

When the commitment period ends, the membership is automatically renewed for an additional twelve (12) months at the same annual price as the previous period, unless the Member cancels the renewal in the app, before the renewal date.

The Member receives an email reminder before the end of the binding period if the membership is set to continue automatically.

8.5 Cancelling an annual membership

The Member may cancel at any time, but the membership remains active until the binding period ends. The Member may cancel the membership manually in the App under Account → Membership → Cancel Membership. Cancellations may also be effected by sending a written request to support@bruce.app. For the termination to be valid, the member must have received confirmation of the termination. In accordance with Danish consumer law, the Member has the right to cancel an annual membership after five (5) months with one (1) month’s notice. This means that a 12-month membership can legally be terminated after six (6) months from the start date, regardless of the original commitment.

9. Credits

9.1 Use of Credits

The Member may use Credits to book training sessions and access facilities at Bruce Studios partners. Credits are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. If the Member cancels a booking made with expired Credits, those Credits are not refunded.

9.2 Pricing and limitations

The price per class when using Credits corresponds to the pricing set by each individual Bruce Studios partner.

10. Pausing membership

10.1 Pause entitlement

The Member has the right to pause their membership at any time. Each calendar year, the Member is entitled to two (2) pause periods totaling sixty (60) days. These pause days can be distributed freely between the two periods. The commitment period will automatically be extended by the number of days the membership is paused.

If the Member has already paid for days that fall within the pause period, the value will be deducted from the next month’s payment. The membership automatically resumes when the pause ends. Unused pause days cannot be carried over to the following calendar year. The Member does not receive new pause days if the membership is cancelled and restarted within the same year.

10.2 Bookings during pause

Bookings that overlap with the pause period will be automatically cancelled (this does not apply to prepaid individual sessions).

10.3 Pause due to special circumstances

In the case of illness, injury, or pregnancy, the Member may request an extended pause. With a medical certificate, a pause of up to 365 days can be granted. Pregnancy allows for a pause of up to six (6) months. Longer pauses may be granted with additional documentation.

10.4 Requesting a pause

All pause requests, including those with a medical certificate, must be submitted in advance. Pauses cannot be applied retroactively or after the membership has been cancelled.

11. Right of withdrawal

11.1 Statutory right of withdrawal

In accordance with Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian consumer protection laws, the Member has a right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) days when purchasing goods or services remotely. The right of withdrawal begins on the date of purchase or, for Trials, the date the Trial starts. The right of withdrawal only applies if the Member has not started using the membership (e.g., by attending a class). Special withdrawal terms for Trials are outlined in section 12.

11.2 Exercising the right of withdrawal

The Member may exercise their right of withdrawal by emailing support@bruce.app within the fourteen-day window. The Member may also use the standard cancellation form under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven). If the membership was purchased via a third party (e.g. a benefit portal), the Member must contact the third party directly, as separate terms may apply.

11.3 Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to single session bookings scheduled for a specific date and time.

12. Trial

12.1 General

Trial is available at certain times throughout the year and allows new customers of Bruce Studios to try selected studios included in the Black membership for free during a period of fourteen (14) days.

During the trial period, the Member may check in a maximum of four (4) times in total. One (1) of these visits may be at a wellness studio. The Member may visit each studio or studio chain a maximum of one (1) time during the trial period.

The Trial only applies to the Black membership level. Some wellness studios may require an additional fee, which corresponds to the fee paid by Black members.

12.2 Limitations

The Trial cannot be paused or extended. The Member may cancel the Trial at any time. Once the Trial ends, the Member no longer has access to Bruce Studios partners through the free trial. The same rules for no-shows, late cancellations, and late check-ins apply to Trial as to paid memberships. The Member cannot cancel their Trial while blocked (see section 16).

12.3 After the Trial

When the Trial ends, the membership automatically converts into a paid Black membership unless cancelled beforehand. The day after the Trial ends, the first monthly payment is charged and full access to the Black level is granted. For current pricing, visit: Memberships The Member will receive an email reminder before the Trial ends if the membership is set to continue automatically.

12.4 Choosing a membership level

In cities where more than one membership level is available, the Member may choose a level before the end of the Trial. Activating a paid membership immediately ends the Trial.

12.5 Attempting to restart a Trial

If a Member tries to restart a Trial, a regular Black membership will be activated. No refunds will be given.

12.6 Withdrawal during Trial

The withdrawal period begins on the first day of the Trial. Once the Trial ends and the membership becomes active, a new withdrawal period will not be offered. See section 11 for more information.

13. Campaign terms

13.1 General terms

Specific terms may apply to an individual campaign. In the event of any discrepancy between these general campaign terms and the campaign’s specific terms, the specific terms shall prevail. Always read the campaign’s own terms in connection with the offer.

If the Member uses a campaign code, the following applies: When activating their first-ever paid Bruce Studios membership, the Member may cancel without a notice period during the first thirty (30) days. As a result, the shortest active period may be either one (1) or three (3) months depending on the campaign. After the first month, a one (1) month notice period always applies.

13.2 Eligibility

Campaigns are only valid for new Members.* Campaigns are not available to those with an active or paused membership or during a Trial period. Eligibility for a campaign is determined at Bruce Studios’ sole discretion and may be limited to prevent misuse.

*A new member is defined as a person who has not had an active, paid membership with Bruce during the past six (6) months. This does not apply to trial. Trial can only be used once. *Exceptions may apply if the Member has received a personal offer via email or SMS.

13.3 Combining with other offers

Campaign codes cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

13.4 Pause during a campaign

If the Member pauses their membership during the campaign period, they may lose all or part of the discount for the remainder of the campaign.

13.5 Activation and validity

A campaign code must be activated within the time frame of the campaign and no later than twenty-five (25) days after being added to the Member’s profile.

The discount applies to Bruce Studios’ list prices during the campaign period and is time-limited. Bruce Studios’ general Terms apply to all Members using a campaign. *Exceptions may apply if the Member has received a personal offer via email or SMS.

14. Invite friends to a free class

14.1 General

An active Member may invite friends to try a class for free within the Member’s current membership level. Each code is unique and can only be used once by someone who is not already a Member. The code gives access to a free session—either a group class or solo training at a gym. The free class must be used within thirty (30) days after the code is added. Free class invites can not be used on wellness studios and some selected partner studios.

14.2 Frequency and verification

People who are not yet Members may redeem one (1) free session every three (3) months. To use the invitation, the invited person must verify their identity in the App.

14.3 Refill of invites

If the invited person becomes a paying Member, the inviting Member receives three (3) new invite codes.

15. Limitations

15.1 Monthly visit limits per partner

All Members may check in a maximum of twenty (20) times per calendar month. Access to specific partner studios, as well as the number of permitted visits, up to eight (8) visits per studio per month, may vary depending on the Member’s membership level. Access to wellness studios is available exclusively to Members on the Black and Epic memberships. Wellness studios refer to recreational and recovery-focused activities, which may include but are not limited to saunas, sound healing, and cryotherapy. The Black membership includes four (4) wellness visits per calendar month, while the Epic membership includes eight (8) wellness visits per calendar month. Wellness visits are included in the total maximum number of check-ins, which is twenty (20) per calendar month.

The monthly visit limit applies to both solo training and class bookings. All visit counts reset on the first (1st) day of each calendar month for all studios.

Larger membership plans usually allow more visits to certain studios. Check studio profiles for details. If the monthly visit limit is reached, the Member may opt to purchase additional visits. Such purchased visits are not included in the standard monthly visit count. However, certain studios may prohibit any visits beyond the specified limit, including purchased visits.

15.2 Simultaneous bookings

The number of active bookings allowed depends on the membership level: Base - 3 bookings Black - 4 bookings Epic - 5 bookings

15.3 Logins

The User may only be logged in on one device at a time. A maximum of five (5) logins is permitted within a 365-day period. Any additional attempts will be blocked.

16. Cancellation of classes

16.1 Rules for cancellation and check-in

All partner studios apply a twelve (12) hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made after this period will result in strikes as follows:

  • If a Member cancels a class between twelve (12) and three (3) hours prior to the scheduled start time, it is considered a late cancellation and results in one (1) strike.
  • If a Member cancels a class between three (3) and one (1) hours prior to the scheduled start time, it is considered a late cancellation with short notice and results in two (2) strikes.
  • If a Member cancels less than one (1) hour before the scheduled start time, or fails to check in by scanning the Bruce Studios QR code at the studio, it is considered a no-show. A no-show results in three (3) strikes.

Check-in is generally permitted up until 5 minutes before the class begins. Check-ins completed after that are considered late check-in, which results in one (1) strike.

Certain partners, require Members to check in no later than ten (10) minutes before class start time to retain their booked spot. Some studios may also lock the entrance after the check-in window. If the Member arrives too late to check in, the visit will be recorded as a no-show.

The specific cancellation and no-show deadlines for each class are displayed in the class description and in the Member’s booking. Members may receive a push notification prior to the cancellation deadline as a reminder. A check-in is only valid if accompanied by actual participation in the class. Members who check in without attending will be recorded as a no-show.

16.2 Booking block

If a member accumulates either three (3) strikes or one (1) no-show — whichever occurs first — the member’s ability to book new classes will be suspended for a period of fourteen (14) days (“Booking Block”). During the Booking Block, the member may still attend previously booked classes and access gyms or studios offering solo training. The member may either wait for the block to expire or pay a fee to remove the block at any time. Once the block is removed, all strikes will be reset to zero (0).

If an additional three (3) strikes or one (1) No-Show occurs during the Booking Block, the fourteen (14) day period will reset.

The Member may not cancel their membership or Trial while blocked. The Member may either wait for the block to expire or choose to be unblocked immediately by paying a fee.

Strikes are removed automatically one (1) at a time every sixty (60) days, starting from the first strike.

16.3 Extension of block

If the Member makes additional infractions while already blocked, the following rules applies: If the Member gets a strike during the booking block, that strike will be in effect after the booking block period. If the Member accumulates 3 additional strikes or receives a no-show during the lock period, the 14-day block will restart from day 1.

16.4 Studio-specific rules

Some Bruce Studios partners may have their own cancellation or block policies. These are listed in the partner’s studio description in the App.

16.5 Using Credits or Cash

If a Member books a class using Credits, the following rules apply: If the Member makes a Late Cancellation, 5 Credits will be deducted and the remaining Credits for the class will be refunded. If the Member does not show up (No-Show), no Credits will be refunded.

If the Member books using Cash, the following applies instead of the strike system: No refunds will be given for bookings paid in cash if you cancel later than 12h before the class or do a no-show.
