Sauna, massage and cryo now count as Wellness, with monthly visit limits of 4 visits/month for Black members and 8 visits/month for Epic members.
As a fresh start, all strikes will be reset on September 2, and the first no-show after that will be forgiven. Thereafter, one strike will be removed every 60 days.

1. General
1.1 About the company
Bruce Studios is a digital membership that gives the Member access to training at a wide selection of studios, gyms and training facilities through a single membership in the App. IM WITH BRUCE AB (registration number 559037-5597) Address: Kivra: 559037-5597, 106 31 Stockholm Email: [email protected] Phone: +46 (0)8 502 745 30 Hereinafter referred to as (“Bruce Studios”), the company operates www.brucestudios.com (the “Website”) and related applications for iOS and Android (the “App”).
1.2 Acceptance of the Terms
By registering as a User on the Website or in the App, the User accepts these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). The Terms govern the legal relationship between the User and Bruce Studios. The User is advised to read the Terms carefully before registering.
1.3 Definitions
The Member: A paying user of the App. The User: Refers to both Members and Users of the Website or App who have not yet paid for a membership. The Account: A personal user account used to log in to the App and the Website.
2. The Service
2.1 Scope of the Service
Bruce Studios provides a service (the “Service”) that allows the Member to book group training classes and check in for solo training at gyms, studios and other training facilities affiliated with Bruce Studios (“Bruce Studios partners”), through the App.
2.2 Age requirement
Only individuals who are 18 years of age or older may purchase a membership with Bruce Studios.
2.3 Check-in
When visiting a Bruce Studios partner, the Member is required to check in for any booked class or solo training by scanning the on-site QR code using the App. Once the QR code is scanned, the Member’s entry ticket will appear in the App and must be presented to the staff.
2.4 Personal membership
The Bruce Studios membership is personal, and the Member is not entitled to transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms to a third party. The Member is also not allowed to grant access to a third party at any Bruce Studios partner. Violation of this clause will result in a penalty fee of SEK 1,000. Repeated violations may result in suspension from the Service.
2.5 Unauthorized use of API
The use of any API provided by Bruce Studios is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from Bruce Studios. Any unauthorized use of the API constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in legal action.
3. Consent to marketing
3.1 Direct marketing
Bruce Studios will send the User direct marketing related to Bruce Studios' products and services. Some marketing will be based on profiling, which means Bruce Studios may analyse the Member’s training behaviour, preferred type of classes, and which Bruce Studios partners the Member attends. Based on this profiling, Bruce Studios may tailor marketing communications to better match the Member’s interests. For more information on how personal data is processed, please see our Privacy Policy.
3.2 Right to withdraw consent
The Member is free to choose whether to consent to or decline profiling for marketing purposes. The Member may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of any processing carried out by Bruce Studios prior to the withdrawal.
4. Supply
The training offerings provided by Bruce Studios partners are determined independently by each partner. This means that the number of available classes and studios may change over time and without prior notice. Bruce Studios does not guarantee access to specific studios or classes, and the Member is not entitled to terminate the membership prematurely due to changes in the class schedule or if a studio is removed from the network.
5. Identification
5.1 Name and profile photo
To use the Service, the Member must enter their full name and upload a profile photo that clearly shows the Member’s face from the front. The Account is personal and may not be shared. If the Member has not provided both a full name and a profile photo, the membership may be blocked without prior notice. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
5.2 Digital ID verification
To maintain the highest level of security, Bruce Studios requires all Members to verify their identity using a digital ID. Verification is performed once and does not need to be repeated unless requested by Bruce Studios. If the Member does not have access to BankID, they must contact Bruce Studios either via the in-app chat or by emailing [email protected] and provide a photo of their passport to verify their identity. The passport image is deleted immediately after verification.
5.3 Personal data
The Member’s personal identification number, name, and address are stored on Bruce Studios' servers in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information on how Bruce Studios processes personal data, please see the Privacy Policy.
5.4 Location data
When checking in at a Bruce Studios partner, the App may request access to the Member’s location. This information is used to confirm that the Member is at the correct location and may be logged for troubleshooting purposes.
6. Membership – General terms
6.1 Download and payment providers
Downloading the App is free of charge. To book a class or work out at Bruce Studios partners, the User must first become a Member. Payments are made by card or direct debit and are processed via Adyen.
6.2 Use across countries
The membership must be purchased in the country where the Member primarily uses the Service. The Member may use their Bruce Studios membership in other cities and countries where Bruce Studios operates, provided the classes are included in the Member’s current membership level.
7. Monthly membership
7.1 Membership levels and notice period
Bruce Studios offers monthly memberships with the various levels of Base, Black and Epic. Monthly memberships are rolling subscriptions without binding time but include a one (1) month notice period. The membership continues until the Member actively cancels.
7.2 Membership fee and payments
The monthly fee is charged at midnight on the last day of the current billing or pause period. If the Member has paid in advance, no refund is issued. The membership will remain active until the end of the prepaid period. Any discount codes must be applied before payment is made.
The Member is responsible for ensuring that the chosen payment method works throughout the entire subscription. The billing period starts from the regular payment date, even if payment fails. If payment cannot be made, the Member must pause the membership in advance to avoid paying for days when the membership is not in use. Missed payments may lead to invoicing or debt collection.
7.3 Payment via benefit portals
Payments can also be made through third-party providers, such as benefit portals. When purchasing through a benefit portal, the membership must be activated within twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. If activation does not occur within this period, the purchase is forfeited and cannot be used.
7.4 Cancelling a monthly membership
The Member must cancel the membership manually in the App via Account → Membership → Cancel Membership. Cancellation through email, phone or other channels is not accepted. Monthly memberships include a one (1) month notice period and the notice period cannot be removed by a pause. The Member will be billed for one final payment cycle after cancellation.
Example: If the Member’s billing date is the 15th of each month and cancellation occurs in April: If cancelled on April 14, the last active period is April 15 – May 14 If cancelled on April 15, that cycle becomes the notice period and ends on May 14 If cancelled on April 16 or later, the last cycle will be May 15 – June 14 The Member may not pause the membership after cancellation.
7.5 Cancelling during the first month
No notice period applies if the Member cancels during the first month of their first paid membership.
8. Annual membership
8.1 Membership level and binding period
Bruce Studios offers annual memberships for all membership levels in all countries. During an active binding period, it is possible to upgrade your membership, but it is not possible to downgrade. An annual membership cannot be cancelled prematurely. In special circumstances, such as injury or pregnancy, extended pause periods beyond the standard pause allowance may be granted. Changes in studio or class availability do not constitute valid grounds for early cancellation. The general terms in section 6 apply to annual memberships as well, including download, payment methods, and cross-border usage.
8.2 Membership fee and payments
The monthly cost is charged at midnight on the last day of each payment or pause period. No refund is issued for prepaid annual memberships. Any discount must be applied before the payment is made. The Member is responsible for ensuring that the payment method remains valid throughout the subscription. If payment fails, the Member may receive an invoice, and the case may be forwarded to debt collection. The Member must pause the membership in advance to avoid charges during inactive periods.
8.3 Payment via benefit portals
Payments for annual memberships can also be made through third-party providers, such as benefit portals. Purchases must be activated within twelve (12) months of the purchase date. If not activated in time, the purchase will be forfeited.
8.4 After the binding period ends
When the binding period ends, the membership will automatically renew for another twelve (12) months at the same annual price as the previous period, unless cancelled by the Member before the renewal date. Members will receive a notification before the renewal, and cancellation can be done manually in the App under: Account → Membership → Cancel Membership. No refund will be issued once the renewal has been processed.
8.5 Cancelling an annual membership
The Member may cancel an annual membership at any time, but it will remain active until the binding period ends. Cancellation must be done manually in the App under: Account → Membership → Cancel Membership.
9. Credits
9.1 Use of Credits
The Member may use Credits to book training sessions and access facilities offered by Bruce Studios partners. Credits are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Credits used to book a class that is later cancelled after expiration are not refunded. Credits cannot be used on Wellness Studios.
9.2 Pricing and limitations
The price per class booked with Credits reflects the pricing set by each individual Bruce Studios partner. Some Bruce Studios partners do not accept Credits as a valid form of payment. A list of such partners is available in Bruce Studios' FAQ.
10. Pausing membership
10.1 Annual pause entitlement
The Member has the right to pause their membership at any time. Each calendar year, the Member is entitled to two (2) pause periods with a total of sixty (60) pause days. These days can be distributed freely between the two periods. The commitment period will automatically be extended by the number of days the membership is paused. If the Member has already paid for days that fall within the pause period, a deduction will be made from the next monthly payment. The membership automatically resumes when the pause ends. Unused pause days cannot be carried over into the next calendar year. The Member is not granted new pause days if the membership is cancelled and restarted within the same calendar year.
10.2 Bookings during a pause
Any class bookings that overlap with the pause period will be cancelled automatically. This does not apply to paid single sessions.
10.3 Pause due to special circumstances
In the event of injury or illness, the Member may request a pause of up to 365 days, provided that a medical certificate is submitted. In connection with pregnancy, a pause of up to six (6) months is permitted. Longer pauses may also be granted with a medical certificate.
10.4 Requesting a pause
Pausing must be requested in advance. It is not possible to pause a membership retroactively or after it has been cancelled. Medical documentation must also be submitted in advance.
11. Right of withdrawal
11.1 Statutory right of withdrawal
According to Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish law, the Member has a right of withdrawal for fourteen (14) days when purchasing goods and services remotely. This right applies from the date of purchase or from the date the Member signs up for a Trial membership. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Member must not have used the membership. Specific withdrawal rules apply to Trial memberships (see section 12).
11.2 Exercising the right of withdrawal
The Member may exercise their right of withdrawal by using the standard form provided by the Swedish Consumer Agency which can be found here or by emailing Bruce Studios at [email protected] within the withdrawal period. If the membership was purchased through a third party, the Member must contact that third party directly, as separate terms may apply.
11.3 Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases of individual classes booked for a specific time.
12. Trial
12.1 General
Trial is available at certain times throughout the year and allows new customers of Bruce Studios to try selected studios included in the Black membership for free during a period of fourteen (14) days. During the trial period, the Member may train a maximum of one (1) time per studio or studio chain. The Trial only applies to the Black membership level. Wellness access and some black studios are not included in the trial.
12.2 Limitations
The trial period cannot be paused or extended. The Member may terminate the Trial at any time. When the Trial ends, the Member is no longer entitled to free training at Bruce Studios partners.
During the trial period, the same rules apply as for paid memberships regarding no-shows, late cancellations, and late check-ins. The Member may not cancel their Trial if they are currently blocked. (See section 16 on cancellation of classes.)
12.3 After the Trial
Once the Trial period has ended, the membership will automatically convert to a Black membership unless the Member actively cancels it beforehand. The day after the Trial ends, the first monthly payment for the Black membership will be charged. Upon payment, the Member receives full access to all features included in the Black membership. 12.4 Choosing membership level
In cities where multiple membership levels are offered, the Member may choose their desired membership level before the Trial period ends. When a membership is activated, the Trial ends immediately.
12.5 Attempting to restart a Trial
If a Member attempts to start a Trial again, a regular Black membership will begin and no refund will be issued.
12.6 Right of withdrawal during Trial
Special withdrawal rules apply to Trials. The withdrawal period begins on the first day of the Trial. No new withdrawal period will be offered once the paid membership begins. For more information on how to exercise the right of withdrawal, see section 11.
13. Campaign terms
13.1 Initial terms
If the Member uses a campaign code, the following terms apply: The very first time the Member activates a paid Bruce Studios membership, the membership may be cancelled without a notice period within the first thirty (30) days. As a result, the shortest possible active period for the membership will be one (1) or three (3) months depending on the campaign. After the first month, a one (1) month notice period always applies.
13.2 Eligibility
Campaigns are only valid for new Members.* Campaigns are never valid for those with an active or paused membership, or during a Trial period. The right to use a campaign code is determined at Bruce Studios’ sole discretion, and Bruce Studios may limit access to campaigns in order to prevent abuse.
13.3 Combination with other offers
Campaign codes cannot be combined with other discounts or promotional offers.
13.4 Pausing during campaign period
If the Member pauses their membership during a campaign period, the Member may lose all or part of the discount for the remainder of the campaign period.
13.5 Activation and duration
A campaign code must be activated within the terms of the campaign and no later than twenty-five (25) days after being added to the Member’s profile. The discount applies to the standard list price during the campaign period. All discounts are time-limited. Bruce Studios’ general terms and conditions apply to all Members who use a campaign. *Exceptions may apply if the Member has received a personal offer via email or SMS.
14. Invite friends to a free class
14.1 General
A Member may send out invitations for a free class at their membership level, provided the membership is active. Each invite code is unique and can only be used once by a person who is not already a Member. The code gives the invited person access to a free class within the inviting Member’s membership level. This may include instructor-led classes or solo training (e.g. at a gym). The free class must be used within thirty (30) days after the code is registered. Free class invites can not be used on wellness studios and some selected partner studios.
14.2 Frequency and verification
Anyone who is not already a Member can receive one (1) free class invite every three (3) months. In order to use the invitation, the person must verify their identity in the App.
14.3 Refill of invites
If the invited friend signs up for a Bruce Studios membership, the inviting Member will receive three (3) new invite codes.
15. Limitations
15.1 Monthly visit limits
All Members may check in a maximum of twenty (20) times per calendar month. Access to specific partner studios, as well as the number of permitted visits, up to eight (8) visits per studio per month, may vary depending on the Member’s membership level. Access to wellness studios is available exclusively to Members on the Black and Epic memberships. Wellness studios refer to recreational and recovery-focused activities, which may include but are not limited to saunas, sound healing, and cryotherapy. The Black membership includes four (4) wellness visits per calendar month, while the Epic membership includes eight (8) wellness visits per calendar month. The monthly visit limit applies to both solo training and class bookings. All visit counts reset on the first (1st) day of each calendar month for all studios. Larger membership plans usually allow more visits to certain studios. Check studio profiles for details. If the monthly visit limit is reached, the Member may opt to purchase additional visits. Such purchased visits are not included in the standard monthly visit count. However, certain studios may prohibit any visits beyond the specified limit, including purchased visits.
15.2 Simultaneous bookings
The number of classes a Member may have booked at the same time depends on the membership level:
Base - 3 bookings Black - 4 bookings Epic - 5 bookings
15.3 Logins
The User may only be logged in to one device at a time. The User may log in up to five (5) times within a 365-day period. Any additional login attempts will be blocked.
6. Cancellation of classes
16.1 Rules for cancellation and check-in
All partner studios apply a twelve (12) hour cancellation policy. If a Member cancels a class less than twelve (12) hours prior to its scheduled start time, it is considered a late cancellation, which results in one (1) strike. If a Member cancels less than three (3) hours before the class or fails to check in by scanning the Bruce Studios QR code at the studio, it is considered a no-show. A no-show results in three (3) strikes.
Check-in is generally permitted up until the class begins. Check-ins completed after the class has started are considered late check-in, which results in one (1) strike. Certain partners, such as STC and Friskis & Svettis, require Members to check in no later than ten (10) minutes before class start time to retain their booked spot. Some studios may also lock the entrance after the check-in window. If the Member arrives too late to check in, the visit will be recorded as a no-show. The specific cancellation and no-show deadlines for each class are displayed in the class description and in the Member’s booking. Members may receive a push notification prior to the cancellation deadline as a reminder. A check-in is only valid if accompanied by actual participation in the class. Members who check in without attending will be recorded as a no-show.
16.2 Booking block
If a member accumulates either three (3) strikes or one (1) No-Show — whichever occurs first — the member's ability to book new classes will be suspended for a period of fourteen (14) days (Booking Block). During the Booking Block, the member may still attend previously booked classes and access gyms or studios offering solo training.
If an additional three (3) strikes or one (1) No-Show occurs during the Booking Block, the fourteen (14) day period will reset.
The Member may either wait for the block to expire or choose to pay a fee to remove the block at any time. The Member may not cancel their membership or Trial while blocked. The Member may either wait for the block to expire or choose to be unblocked immediately by paying a fee. Strikes are removed automatically one (1) at a time every sixty (60) days, starting from the first strike.
16.3 Extension of blocking period
If the Member makes additional infractions while already blocked, the following rules applies: If the Member gets a strike during the booking block, that strike will be in effect after the booking block period. If the Member accumulates 3 additional strikes or receives a no-show during the lock period, the 14-day block will restart from day 1. It is not possible to pause a membership during an active block. If a scheduled pause overlaps with a blocking period, the remaining block days will resume after the pause ends.
16.4 Studio-specific policies
Bruce Studios partners may apply additional rules. This may include studio-specific blocking rules. Such policies will be noted in the respective studio description in the App.
16.5 When using Credits
If the Member books using Credits, the following applies instead of the strike system: Late cancellation: Five (5) Credits will be deducted, the rest are refunded Missed class: No Credits are refunded
17. Reviews
17.1 Guidelines for reviews
The Member may submit a review after completing a training session. Reviews submitted on Bruce Studios must be honest, fair, and constructive. All reviews must be written respectfully and factually, including when giving critical feedback. Reviews that include personal attacks, offensive language, or discriminatory content will not be tolerated. Bruce Studios partners receive all reviews and may respond to them directly within the Bruce Studios system.
Reviews submitted in the app may be displayed publicly on our platform. If a review includes identifiable information such as your name or profile picture, and you have chosen not to submit your review anonymously, the review may also be shared by our partner studios on their websites or social media channels. By submitting a review with identifiable information, you consent to this type of usage. You may choose to post a review anonymously if you do not wish for your identity to be visible or shared.
17.2 Moderation and removal
Bruce Studios supports open communication and generally does not censor, edit, or delete reviews. However, Bruce Studios reserves the right to remove any review or reply that violates the guidelines above.
18. Operation and complaints
18.1 Availability of the Service
The Service is generally available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, Bruce Studios does not guarantee that the Service will be free from errors or interruptions. In the event of a disruption or malfunction, Bruce Studios must be given the opportunity to correct the issue. Bruce Studios reserves the right to temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance within a reasonable time frame.
18.2 Reporting issues
If the User experiences a malfunction or wishes to report an error, Bruce Studios must be notified within a reasonable time by emailing [email protected].
19. Policy
19.1 Rules at Bruce Studios partners
The Member must follow all rules and regulations that apply at each Bruce Studios partner.
19.2 Zero tolerance for harassment
Bruce Studios has a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment. Any form of harassment – including but not limited to verbal, physical, or online harassment – may result in immediate termination of the membership.
19.3 Prohibition of independent activity
Unless otherwise agreed with the Bruce Studios partner, it is not permitted to conduct independent activities such as personal training (PT) services at the partner’s facility.
19.4 Prohibited substances
The use of any drugs or performance-enhancing substances is prohibited when using the Service, except when prescribed by a licensed physician. Doping tests may occur at certain Bruce Studios partner facilities.
19.5 Animals and children
Unless otherwise stated by Bruce Studios or the partner, animals and children are not permitted during training or in the premises of Bruce Studios partners.
19.6 Insurance
Bruce Studios does not provide insurance for the Member while attending classes or training at Bruce Studios partners or participating in events. Each Bruce Studios partner is responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage.
19.7 Suspension and access restriction
Bruce Studios reserves the right to suspend a Member from the Service or a specific Bruce Studios partner immediately and without explanation. Each Bruce Studios partner also has the right to deny a Member access to their facilities.
19.8 Multiple accounts
Only one Account per person is allowed. Bruce Studios reserves the right to delete any duplicate Accounts at any time.
19.9 No refunds upon suspension
If an Account is suspended or deleted due to policy violations, no refunds will be issued.
20. Force Majeure
20.1 Limitation of liability
Bruce Studios shall not be held liable for failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by an unforeseeable event beyond Bruce Studios’ control (“Force Majeure Event”).
20.2 Examples of Force Majeure
Force Majeure Events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, governmental decisions, regulations, or public authority measures.
20.3 Response to Force Majeure
In the event of a Force Majeure Event, Bruce Studios shall take reasonable measures to mitigate its effects.
21. Processing of personal data
21.1 Applicable law
Bruce Studios processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which governs the protection of personal privacy within the EU.
21.2 Rights and contact
For more information, please refer to Bruce Studios’ Privacy Policy To correct, access, or request deletion of personal data, the User may contact customer support at [email protected].
22. Health conditions
22.1 Member responsibility
Bruce Studios aims to provide a safe and supportive training environment at all affiliated studios. The Member is solely responsible for assessing their own health condition and ensuring that they are fit to engage in physical activity without risk of injury or deterioration.
22.2 Serious health concerns
If a Member shows signs of serious health issues — including but not limited to eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, or orthorexia — Bruce Studios reserves the right, following a dialogue with the Bruce Studios partner and the Member, to recommend a temporary pause in training. This is to safeguard the Member’s health and safety.
22.3 Return to training
To resume training, Bruce Studios may require a medical certificate verifying that physical activity is deemed appropriate. Bruce Studios cooperates with its partners to manage potential health concerns in a responsible manner.
22.4 Purpose of the policy
This policy exists to promote a healthy and safe training environment for all Members.
23. Contact details and changes
23.1 Customer support
Bruce Studios customer support is available via email at [email protected] or through the support chat in the App.
23.2 Changes to the Terms
Bruce Studios may update these Terms at any time, with or without prior notice to the User. Any such update enters into effect immediately upon publication. The User’s continued use of the Service after such an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
